

Is it cheaper to build a log home? - Yes and No. If you do a lot of the work your self you can save a considerable amount of labor cost. No, the cost will be about the same as a conventional house.
Can we just buy the logs and put them up ourselves? - Yes. Logs, freight, and seal strips can be bought as a package.
How much of the house do you build? - We will erect the logs, install all beams, and cut out windows and doorway openings.
Do your logs shrink and settle? - No. Since they are completely nature dried, there is no shrinkage or settling problems, which is common in green cut timber. They will, however, expand and contract with the normal seasonal changes.
How much do your logs cost? - In comparison to other log companies, we have found that we are very competitive. Prices vary with different floor plans.
