The exterior of the logs has a rustic bark covered, truly natural look, while the other three sides are planed and sawed for easy and accurate fitting during construction. The dry timber of the interior walls can be left exposed giving it a rustic, natural look, or should you prefer the modern conventional appearance, paneling or dry wall can be nailed directly to the interior logs.
Because of the natural exterior walls, outside maintenance is practically non-existent.

Efficiency is another advantage of Classic Country Log Homes LLC. over conventional homes. Tests conducted by the Arizona State University show one inch of wood has the same insulation factor as six inches of cement. You can save up to 42% of the cooling and heating bills of conventional construction.

Classic Country Logs are Colorado cut spruce logs which are completely dried. Since they are completely dried, there is no shrinkage and no settling problems common to other types of log construction procedures. The logs are installed one on top of the other and fastened together by 3/8" lag bolts.
